The main problem with classic antennas is that they take up too much space and are difficult to hang properly in an ordinary apartment. When I read the article, I understood why such a slinky dog antenna is so popular among amateurs. Thanks to the shape of the spiral, it resonates on the right bands, while remaining very mobile. It can be easily folded or stretched in a couple of seconds, depending on the desired frequency. I definitely recommend trying this format to everyone who loves radio searching.
